KEIZER, Ore. – In-N-Out Burger is building its northernmost location in Keizer, and construction on the restaurant is well underway.

The In-N-Out will be at the Keizer Station, which is just off of Interstate 5.

News broke nearly a year ago that the chain would be coming to the Salem/Keizer area. Currently they only have two locations in Southern Oregon; Grants Pass and Medford.

"Oregon is considered a new market for In-N-Out," project manager Kori Seki previously told KATU. “The City of Keizer will be the third. It will serve as a new entry benchmark into Portland and other metropolitan areas with its presence and brand recognition."

KATU’s Keaton Thomas stopped by the site on Sunday to check out the progress. No word on an official opening day.

Carl Arena, Vice President of Real Estate and Development with In-N-Out, previously told us he could not comment specifically about the timeline for a Keizer restaurant.

"Once we begin construction on a new location, it usually takes us about five months to build a restaurant and open for business," said Arena.
