Motorcycle rider seriously injured in Gresham crash, NE 172 closed at Glisan St.

GRESHAM, Ore. – A motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after a crash that closed Northeast 172nd Avenue, Gresham Police said.

The crash was reported just before 5:30 p.m. at the Northeast Glisan Street intersection.

Officers tell our reporter at the scene that the crash involved a motorcycle rider and a driver in a small sedan. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Initial reports state that the motorcyclist was heading east on Glisan and collided with the rear of the car.
