ODOT: Highway 22 east of Idanha remains closed Saturday

PORTLAND, Ore. — A crash involving a tractor-trailer has closed Highway 22 east of Idanha "indefinitely," the Oregon Department of Transportation said late Friday night.

Saturday morning, officials say Highway 22 will remain closed for much of the day for the clean up of fuel that spilled from the tanker.

The crash happened at milepost 64, which is about eight miles east of Idanha.

ODOT advises drivers to avoid the area or find an alternative route.
