NEWPORT, Ore. — The Oregon Coast Aquarium announced it is reopening on Monday, August 10.
The aquarium had to close due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Officials say the experience will be a one-hour outdoor experience, featuring five prominent outdoor exhibits.
Those exhibits include the turkey vulture exhibit, the sea otter exhibit, the seals and sea lion exhibit, the seabird aviary exhibit, and the rocky habitat exhibit.
Each station will have experts who will share information about the featured animals.
All high touch areas, playground, and café will still be closed.
Aquarium admission is reduced to $15 per person, and all tickets much be purchased online.
