Oregon State Police were working to identify a woman on Friday who washed ashore along the Pacific Ocean coast in Lincoln County.

Police say someone discovered the deceased woman on the beach between Devil's Punchbowl and Otter Rock at around 1 a.m. on Thursday.

Investigators do not know how long the deceased woman was in the ocean before she washed ashore.

The woman is white and has blond, mid-length hair, blue eyes, and police believe she's between 40 and 50 years old. She was wearing black yoga-style pants with the logo "Wilson Lacrosse" on the hip, a white T-shirt with a "Skyhawks Sports Academy" logo and gray Nike shoes with orange soles.
