PORTLAND, Ore. – Police arrested a suspected DUII driver accused of trying to run off after crashing a red Porsche 911 into a building in Southeast Portland.

Officers were called out about 2:15 a.m. Sunday on reports that someone crashed into a building near Southeast Grand Avenue and Washington Street.

Witnesses saw the driver run off. When officers arrived, they helped authorities track a suspect down.

Police arrested 30-year-old Vasiliy Kutsar, saying he seemed to be “impaired by alcohol.”

Kutsar was booked into the Washington County Jail on DUII, reckless driving, three counts of recklessly endangering another person, and a hit-and-run charge.
