Semi-truck crashes into power pole, causing outages in Detroit

DETROIT, Ore. – A semi-truck crashed into a power pole Friday morning, causing outages to residents in the area, Marion County officials said.

According to Marion Area Multi Agency Emergency Telecommunications, the Idanha-Detroit Fire District responded to the crash.

Crews cleared the crash, but Oregon Department of Transportation remained on scene.

Consumer Power is working to restore power.
