Silverton man dies in crash south of Molalla on Christmas Day

MOLALLA, Ore. – A Silverton man died in a single-vehicle crash south of Molalla on Christmas Day, Oregon State Police said.

Troopers responded to the crash on Highway 213 near milepost 22 at around 8 p.m.

Investigators say Nathan Ward, 38, of Silverton, was driving a Honda Civic southbound on Highway 213 when he drove off the road and struck several fence poles.

Ward died as a result of his injuries.
