Two arrested on drug, child neglect charges during search of Jefferson, Ore. home

JEFFERSON, Ore. – A morning drug raid at a home in Jefferson, Oregon landed two people in jail on Thursday on several charges, including child neglect, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.

Authorities say they seized several ounces of meth, heroin, fake prescriptions, and evidence of drug dealing while serving the search warrant at 286 High Street in Jefferson.

During the search, the Linn Interagency Narcotics Enforcement (LINE) Task Force caught three people. Two were arrested and the third was cited and released:

  • Shane Thomas Becktold, 24, of Sublimity, was booked into the Marion County Jail on unlawful possession of meth, unlawful delivery of meth, unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful delivery of heroin, child neglect I and endangering the welfare of a minor.
  • Emmy Lou Brockman, 20, of Jefferson, was arrested and is facing unlawful possession of meth, unlawful delivery of meth, unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful delivery of heroin, child neglect I and endangering the welfare of a minor.
  • Deidama Ann Agee, 58, of Jefferson, was arrested for frequenting a place where controlled substances are used. She was cited and released.

According to investigators, the same home was subject to a similar search back on February 6 where they found over half a pound of heroin, a half-ounce of cocaine, over $22,000 cash, and one arrest.
