WOOD VILLAGE, Ore. — The mayor of Wood Village announced Friday that he's resigning in order to fight for his life.
Timothy Clark has served as mayor since 2016.
He was diagnosed with cancer late last year.
On Friday, he said the cancer has progressed and he needs to step away from the City Council in order to focus his energy and efforts on winning his battle.
