PORTLAND, Ore. — For years, Portlanders have had their attention on affordable housing, homelessness, political extremists and more, but another wildly popular part of Portland can't make ends meet.

Portland Parks and Recreation does a lot of things Portlanders love, but it is in trouble. It’s the cover story of this week's Willamette Week.
