Little Rock police responded to 3517 West 10th Street about a ShotSpotter activation Monday just before 8 p.m., that left a man injured, a police report said.

When officers arrived, they found several shell casings in front of the scene, along with damage to a Ford Explorer and Ford Escape in the area.

Authorities made contact with people in the area, but say they did not provide important information.

Later police received a call from Baptist hospital from William Hernandez who said he was shot somewhere around 12th Street.

Hernandez told the police he was near the 12th Street Substation at the time of the incident and also said the suspect was driving a white SUV.

According to the report, Hernandez is in stable condition.

No other information is available on the incident at this time.
