LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Little Rock police on Wednesday said a teenage boy had been arrested in a double shooting earlier this week.
The department tweeted that the boy faces two counts of first-degree battery and one count of terroristic threatening. The tweet did not name the boy.
The shooting happened Monday night at Westridge Place Apartments at 420 of Napa Valley Drive. Officers arrived on the scene about 8 p.m. and found Kierra Watson, 23, and Daevien Marbley, 19, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Witnesses told police that two black males were "talking and laughing" near the victim's vehicle before shots were fired. One of the witnesses then heard screaming and saw Watson fall out of the vehicle.
No other arrests had been reported Wednesday morning.
