Clerk shot during Little Rock gas station robbery

Little Rock police are investigating a robbery at the Shell gas station at 16900 Cantrell Rd. that left a clerk shot Wednesday night.

Authorities said the suspect fired the gun multiple times around 7 p.m. and fled in a gray SUV. He reportedly took beer, chips and cigarettes.

Police said the clerk, identified as Dillon Reddick, 21, was struck in the lower abdomen. He was taken to UAMS Medical Center in critical condition.

The robber is described as black and in the 40 to 50-year-old range. He wore black pants, a black short-sleeve shirt with white stripes and a hat with numbers on it.
