Coronavirus cases rise by 637 in Arkansas, 6 more deaths

Arkansas health officials report 637 more confirmed cases of the coronavirus and six more deaths due to the virus, as of Sunday afternoon.

There are 43,810 total cases of the virus in the state with 6,770 active cases. The health department reported464 deaths from the virus.

So far in August 5,410 tests have been conducted within the state. Hospitalizations are up to 515, an increase of 16 since Saturday.


Governor Asa Hutchinson reported that 106 Arkansans are currently on a ventilator. Health officials also reported 36,576 recoveries from the coronavirus.
