A downtown Little Rock bar is closing after less than a year in business.

Alibi announced on its Facebook page that Friday will be its "final farewell." The speakeasy-style bar opened in December at 300 River Market Avenue, the former site of Zin wine bar.

The Facebook post says the bar's owner did not have enough time to spend with family and could not "give this business the attention it requires."

Other plans for the location are in the works.

"Check back to find out how we will convert the location into something new and different for downtown," the post says.
