Little Rock police have identified the man who died in a shooting and two men who were injured early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to the 2400 block of Cross Street after a report of multiple gunshots in the area around 1:18 a.m.

Shortly after, a call was received saying someone had shot the caller's brother.

When police arrived at the scene, they found 32-year-old Jose Castro with a gunshot wound inside of a white Chevrolet Suburban.

Officers attempted to provide medical aid, but Castro was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other males, Randy Canela and Arnaldo Marengo, were found with gunshot wounds.

The men told the police a suspect shot Marengo, then fired the gun at Canela and Castro before felling the area in a vehicle.

Marengo and Canela have been transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities believe their injuries are not life-threatening.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene, process and collected potential evidence.

According to police, the suspect's vehicle is reported to be a dark blue Chevrolet Camaro.

Castro's vehicle was impounded at the City Impound Crime Scene Bay.

The County's Coroners office transported Castro's body to the State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

If anyone has any information about the shooting they are asked to call the Little Rock Police Department at (501) 371-4829.

Little Rock police say the investigation is on-going.
