Little Rock woman charged with murder after fatally shooting boyfriend

A Little Rock woman was arrested on Friday after fatally shooting a man she had been living with.

On Friday around 2:32 a.m., Little Rock police responded to a shooting at a home in the 5000 block of West 31st Street.

When officers arrived at the home, they found 33-year-old Charles Gant with a fatal gunshot wound.

Officers spoke with 29-year-old Jessica Henson, who lived at the home. She told police she had been in a disturbance with Gant.

Henson was developed as a suspect after an investigation and charged with second-degree murder.

She is being held in the Pulaski County Detention Center with no bond.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
