Miss Apple Blossom Darynne Dahlem crowned Miss Arkansas 2019

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Miss Apple Blossom, 22-year-old Darynne Dahlem now wears the crown as the new Miss Arkansas 2019.

Dahlem competed along with 43 other women and was crowned by Miss Arkansas 2018 Claudia Raffo on Saturday night at sold-out Robinson Center in Little Rock.

As the Miss Arkansas winner, Dahlem will take home scholarship money.

She is from Greenwood and attends the University of Arkansas Honors College. You can find out more about her here.

The top finalists of the night also included:

1st Runner Up- Miss Spirit of Arkansas, Laura Lee Turner, 22, of North Little Rock, attends Oklahoma City University

2nd Runner Up- Miss Ouachita Baptist University, Julie Williams, 21, of Arkadelphia, attends Ouachita Baptist University

3rd Runner Up- Miss Ouachita River, Tiffany Lee, 22, of Benton, Ouachita Baptist graduate, received $6,000 in scholarships

4th Runner Up- Miss Greater Hot Springs, Gracie Stover, 21, of Little Rock, attends Ouachita Baptist University

This year marks the 82nd year of the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Pageant.
