Photos: New food at the 2019 Arkansas State Fair

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — It's almost time for the Arkansas State Fair! One of the top reasons people go to the fair is for the food.

On Wednesday, Channel 7 got to sample some of the new foods available at the fair this year. From some of the more adventurous foods like sweet bacon cakes to the more classics like corn dogs, there is something for everyone!

This year, there were two categories to vote on, most creative and best tasting. The best tasting award went to the fried lasagna. The most creative award went to the funnel cake cheeseburger.

This year's fair runs from Oct. 11 through Oct. 20.
