Hot Springs man arrested in connection to fatal shooting

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Hot Springs police say they have arrested a man in connection to a September homicide.

Police say that Vincent Bernard Louis, 41, of Hot Springs, was taken into custody for first-degree murder on Wednesday. He was found in the 5000 block of Central Avenue by the Garland County Sheriff's Department.

According to police, on Sept. 23 officers responded to the 100 block of Chapel Street around 6 p.m. and found Cory Terrance Gibson, 39, of Hot Springs dead from a gunshot wound.

Louis is being held in the Garland County Detention Center on a $250,00 bond.
