Two people known as "Spanks" and "Lil' Bam" were named as possible suspects in a shooting that injured a man Wednesday in Little Rock, police reported.

Officers were called about 6 p.m. to the 4300 block of Asher Avenue, where they found a 25-year-old man inside a vehicle who had been shot in his upper back, according to a police report. The man told police he was leaving a store nearby when the shooting happened. He told police that "Spanks" and "Lil' Bam" were the shooters. But he later said they were not the shooters. He told officers that whoever shot him fled in a black Honda Accord.

Police wrote in the report that the man was "very vague and uncooperative." He was taken to UAMS Medical Center for treatment.

A witness reportedly told police that a tall, skinny man had fired a Draco machine pistol. Police recovered 15 shell casings from the scene.

One of the shots hit the windshield of a vehicle traveling eastbound on Asher Avenue. The woman driving the vehicle was not hurt.

Detailed descriptions of the suspects were not available.
