Suspects steal vehicle after man drives them to Little Rock apartment

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Authorities are investigating after a man claimed his car was stolen when he gave two people a ride to a Little Rock apartment Wednesday.

The victim told police he was driving south on Main Street around 3 a.m. when he saw a black male he thought he recognized walking down the road. He picked up the male and an unknown black female, who asked to be dropped off in the 2000 block of Main Street.

According to the report, when the victim dropped off the suspects, he entered the apartment at the location. Soon after, the black male put something up to the back of his head and demanded his keys.

The victim said the black male and black female both fled the area in his vehicle, a 2009 black Yukon, which he purchased in Conway two weeks prior to the robbery.
