West Helena woman killed in Highway 49 car crash

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A West Helena woman was killed Thursday morning in a Highway 49 car crash.

Alice Dunn, 74, was driving east on Highway 49 in West Helena when her vehicle crossed the center line and hit another vehicle in the left westbound lane.

A woman and two children in the other vehicle were injured and taken to a local hospital, according to Arkansas State Police.

Conditions were wet and rainy at the time of the crash.
