LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — Former Arkansas Razorback and Little Rock Hall High graduate Bobby Portis returned to his Alma mater Friday night. The school retired his No. 10 jersey.
Portis, who was recently traded from Chicago to Washington, signed autographs and participated in Homecoming ceremonies.
"When you're a kid and you're growing up, you're just playing the game and having fun, trying to make a name for yourself. When I sit back and reflect on all this stuff, all the memories, all the championships, all the things, blood sweat and tears, I think this is a huge, huge accomplishment on my list," Portis said.
Last May, Portis surprised his mom with a new house in Little Rock for Mother's Day. You can watch that story here.
