Two arrested after Police chase through Columbia Park

KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Two people are behind bars after police tried to pull them over for being in a stolen car, and then taking them on a chase through Columbia Park.

Kennewick Police say that at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday morning, officers saw the car, that had been reported stolen in Kennewick weeks prior, near Columbia Center Blvd and Tapteal Loop.

When officers tried to pull the car over, the driver took off through Columbia park.

The driver, Jesse Croxton, 33, hit a curb that caused a flat tire, officers then deployed spike strips that flattened two other tires.

Croxton tried to run from the car but was quickly arrested and has been charged with attempting to elude a police car and possession of a stolen car.

Police say there were two passengers, one has been identified as Dru Brumley-Yule, 29, who has ben booked on a felony warrant.

no one was injured.
