BEAUMONT — UPDATE: Beaumont Police say homicide suspect is in custody

Earlier story: Beaumont Police are investigating a fatal shooting on Primrose Street in the north end.

Police say they received a call reporting a shooting at about 10: 30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of Primrose Street, east of Concord and north of Delaware.

EMS and police responded to the call and discovered a body in front of a home.

Police are gathering evidence and talking with witnesses to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
