BPD: Victim dies after Sunday morning shooting in 3100 block of Concord

UPDATE:

Beaumont Police say the shooting victim has died. Police identify the victim as Darrell Howard, 43.

This is the seventh homicide of the year in Beaumont, and the fourth homicide to occur within the last three weeks.

BPD:

"Sunday, April 21, 2019 at 2:02 AM, officers responded to 3130 Concord (E&L Touch of Class) in reference to shots fired. Officers arrived on scene and located a 43 year old Beaumont man laying near the street and unresponsive. He had a gun shot wound to the abdomen area. Officers administered first aid until EMS arrived and transported the victim to St. Elizabeth Hospital. The victim was in critical condition and had to have surgery.
