DEVELOPING: Murder suspect says he was at casino at time of killing

BEAUMONT — Mark Wayne Brantley, 27, Beaumont, was arrested Wednesday and charged with Murder in the Tuesday night shooting death of Joseph Andrew Frank, 45, in the 2400 block of Primrose Street in the north end of town.

Brantley was transported to the police station to speak with detectives and then taken to the Jefferson County Jail.

Brantley claims he was at a casino in Lake Charles at the time of the shooting death.
