SEATTLE -- One person suffered minor injuries when a Toyota hybrid collided with a Seattle Police SUV in Downtown Seattle Tuesday night.
The crash was reported around 10 p.m. at Third Avenue and Stewart Street, according to the Seattle Police 911 log. A 57-year-old man driving the Toyota was treated at the scene for minor injuries but didn't require a trip to the hospital, according to David Cuerpo with Seattle Fire. The SPD officer wasn't hurt.
Video from the scene showed the impact sent the SPD SUV up onto the curb at Stewart, where it took out a street sign and crashed into the side of a rental car agency, causing minor damage to the building.
There is no word yet what led up to the crash.
