WOODBURN, Ore. — Police arrested a 29-year-old man Thursday, accusing him of offering a girl drugs and trying to get her to have sex with him.
Woodburn police say Gustavo Calderon-Villegas is a sex offender.
The victim, a teenager under the age of 16, told police she didn’t know Calderon-Villegas when he gave her beer and marijuana after leading her to where he was living behind a business on Mt. Hood Avenue.
The victim contacted a friend, who then called police.
Police said they went to the scene and arrested Calderon-Villegas.
Calderon-Villegas was taken to the Marion County Jail where he faces charges of third-degree attempted rape, third-degree sex abuse and other charges.
