The Jefferson City Fire Department reported Sunday a crew rescued a dog from a drainage pipe.

In a Facebook post, JCFD said Engine 3 and Ladder 3 helped Jefferson City Animal Control rescue a Blue Tick Heeler.

The pup, named Scooby, was stuck in a 12-inch drainage pipe.

In the post, the department thanked members of Living Hope Church and the Jefferson City Sewer Department for their support in the rescue.
