McCarty Street closed due to flooding in downtown Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY — Officers in Jefferson City directed traffic Tuesday morning as McCarty Street was closed due to flooding between Bolivar Street and Missouri Boulevard.

This could affect citizens regular commutes to work and were urged to find an alternate route.

The Jefferson City Police Department asked that drivers not go around barricades or road closure signs.
