A wanted felon was arrested Saturday after being located by the Moberly Police Department near Morley St at Union Avenue.

Isaiah Patterson, of Omaha, Nebraska, was wanted on a felony warrant for "transporting interstate for sexual activity" and sex trafficking of a minor with no bond authorized. A second warrant for his arrest was felony probation violation through Iowa, for original charges of 2nd degree burglary and weapons charges with a $15,000 cash only bond.

The Moberly Police Department received information from the FBI in Omaha in regards to Patterson being in Moberly. At that time, the pursuit to locate Patterson's whereabouts had began.

An officer observed Patterson in the passenger seat of a vehicle near Morley St at Union Avenue. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and Patterson was taken into custody without incident.

Due to one of the warrants yielding “no bond” Patterson was transported to the Randolph County Justice Center to await extradition.

With Patterson being a wanted fugitive and being located in Missouri, new charges for Fugitive out of State have been forwarded to the Randolph County Prosecutor.

Those charges require an additional $20,000 cash only bond for Patterson.
