PHOENIX – Guitar slinger Gary Clark Jr. is returning to the Phoenix this fall to promote his forthcoming album, “This Land.”

The Grammy-winning blues wizard will perform downtown at Comerica Theatre on Sept. 24.

Tickets went on sale Friday and range from $39.50 to $69.50 plus fees.

VIP packages that include prime seats, exclusive merchandise and more are also available for $153.50 plus fees.

All purchases come with a CD or digital copy of “This Land,” Clark’s fifth studio album, which is scheduled for a Feb. 22 release.

Want to check out Clark in action before plunking down for tickets? He’ll be the musical guest this weekend on “Saturday Night Live.”

Clark, who’s been compared to fellow Texan Stevie Ray Vaughn for making authentic blues music that reaches a wide audience, was just in Phoenix last November for a sold-out show at The Van Buren.

In 2013, Clark won a Grammy Award for best traditional R&B performance for the song “Please Come Home” in 2013.

His searing version of the Beatles’ “Come Together” for the “Justice League” soundtrack in 2017 became Clark’s first charting single.

We want to hear from you.
