Police in Texas share video of wild crash at police barricade

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) – Police in Crockett, Texas, released wild video showing a suspect trying to plow through a barricade of police vehicles.

The Crockett Police Department said the chase started Wednesday about 30 miles away in Trinity, Texas.

As the suspect, who wasn’t named by police, approached downtown Crockett, police laid down “stop sticks” and positioned patrol vehicles in a way to divert the suspect.

“As can be seen in the video the suspect continued and attempted to drive through ultimately striking a Crockett Police Department unit,” reads a Facebook post from police.



No officers were hurt.

The suspect was caught after the crash and taken to a hospital for his injuries. Police said the suspect is expected to live.

“The attached photos and videos show what our officers face on a daily basis,” reads the police Facebook post.
