Traveling Oklahoma - Lost Creek Safari

Stillwater, Okla. (KTUL) — Welcome to Stillwater and Lost Creek Safari with our gracious host Rusty Focht and their newest addition, a beautiful baby kangaroo.

"Yeah this is Lily and she's 8-months-old, and she lays her head back and she wants to be scratched right there, that's her favorite spot," said Focht.

"Everything we have out here is really tame. And a lot of it is cause we bottle fed them or they just been around people so much," he said.

They have over 150 animals with upwards of 40 to 50 different species.

A visit to their animal sanctuary feels more like a like a visit to a friend's house than to a business.

In fact, their home is located smack dab in the middle of the park.

The love and compassion they have for the animals is evident in their interactions with each animal and the attention to detail for every creatures well being.

The park has been open for six years and has steadily grown in size and recognition.
