SE Iowa man injured after ATV overturns

NEAR MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa — A southeast Iowa man is recovering after a weekend ATV crash.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the crash happened around 3:20 p.m. Saturday, on Kentucky Avenue near Mount Pleasant.

Troopers say Todd Pringnitz, 41, of Mount Pleasant, lost control of his 4-wheeler for unknown reasons.

As a result, the ATV overturned, and Pringnitz was ejected.

He was transported by Med Force Aircare to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City for treatment of injuries.

This crash remains under investigation.
