1 person stabbed in fight during funeral in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A fight broke out at a Salt Lake City funeral that left one person with a minor stab wound on Saturday.

At approximately 10:15 a.m., Salt Lake City Police responded to a stabbing call at the Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary.

According to police, there was a funeral taking place at the mortuary before a fight broke out.

One person was stabbed during the altercation. The victim declined medical attention because the injury was minor.

Police told 2News that both parties knew each other, but it's unclear the exact relationship between them.

Police are still looking for the suspect or suspects involved in the fight and stabbing.
