Two bar bouncers were stabbed in Salt Lake City early Saturday morning and though two suspects were arrested, one is still on the run.

Salt Lake City Police told 2News that two people were taken into custody after the stabbing, but the third individual - believed to be the stabber - ran from the scene.

2News received the probable cause statement for one of the two people who were arrested: Jose Muñoz. Muñoz, 26, was arrested for aggravated assault.

According to the probable cause statement, Muñoz was intoxicated at the former Totem's (now La Cabaña) on Redwood Road when he and his friends were asked by bar security to leave the establishment.

They then left; but, Muñoz and his friends returned to the bar in a vehicle and jumped out when confronted by security. According to the probable cause statement, Muñoz grabbed a bat from the vehicle and swung it at three of the security officers, but didn't hit them.

However, one of Muñoz's friends stabbed two of the security guards with a knife and ran from the scene. The bouncers' conditions are unknown.

Muñoz and one of his friends were taken into custody. Police are currently searching for the third friend and the one who stabbed the security officers.
