(KUTV) — A Salt Lake County family is living in fear after what they say has been years of torture.

Casey Keegan says one of her daughters used to date a man named Daman Holmes. Keegan says he was abusive, physically and emotionally, and he has continued to torture the entire family even after her daughter left him.

That has included property damage to Keegan’s own home. Now, two videos have surfaced online. They were seemingly recorded in Nevada and show Holmes beating a dog multiple times while threatening horrific things against both of Keegan‘s daughters.

Keegan says they have been to the police multiple times. There are also two warrants out for his arrest here in Utah. Those are for things relating to domestic violence, property damage and theft. Part of the problem police have in catching him is he is constantly moving between Utah and Nevada.

Authorities in Nevada are also aware of him.

If you know that Holmes is in Utah or that he is going to be in the state, the Unified Police Department would like you to call them at 801-793–7000.

If you are a victim of domestic violence or know someone who is, resources are available to you. The Utah Domestic Violence Hotline can be reached at 1-800-897-5465.

The Utah Domestic Violence Coalition has other resources, including shelter locations and help with court proceedings. Those resources can be found online here.
