Fire breaks out at downtown Salt Lake City hotel

(KUTV) — A structure fire broke out at a hotel in downtown Salt Lake City Wednesday afternoon.

Crews from the Salt Lake City Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the Econolodge on 715 W. North Temple St.

Fire crews extinguished the fire shortly after and stated on Twitter that there were no injuries reported.

Officials are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
