SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Utah's first snowfall of the season is here.
The snow fell on Bald Mountain in the Uinta Mountains early Tuesday morning.
The area is about 12,000 feet above sea level.
2News Meteorologist Lindsay Storrs forecasted Monday that Utahns might see some snow overnight in mountain areas.
Campers need to be prepared for winter-like weather in the mountains over the next few days.
Storrs says Utahns should expect to see scattered thunderstorms and rain showers Tuesday and Wednesday in northern and central Utah.
