SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A man is on the run after a shooting on Sunday morning in Salt Lake City.
Several shots were fired, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department. It occurred near 900 East 400 South.
Authorities told 2News the shooting happened around 2 a.m. while police were in the area responding to another incident.
Officials said they lost sight of the suspect following a brief pursuit.
No one was hurt as a result of either situation, police said.
According to police, officers located shell casings and recovered a gun near the scene.
Police said the gun is stolen, and the owner will likely not face charges.
No description of the suspect was immediately available.
