SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — One person was shot in the leg in Salt Lake City early Saturday morning.
At approximately 1:45 a.m., Salt Lake City Police responded to a call on a disagreement outside of Totem's Bar near 500 S. Redwood Rd.
According to police, things escalated and witnesses said a person pulled out a gun and fired several shots, hitting a man in the leg. The injured person was taken to the hospital.
"Like I said, there have really been no arrests," said Lt. Scott Smalley with Salt Lake City Police. "We're interviewing witnesses and then will make a determination from there."
Police are still investigating the incident. Police also told 2News that the injured person is expected to recover.
