SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) – The 1993 film "The Sandlot" is a Utah classic, having been filmed in the Beehive State.

Patrick Renna, who plays "Hamilton 'Ham' Porter" had a layover Sunday in Salt Lake City.

Renna decided it was a perfect opportunity to take his son to the original sandlot used in the movie, at 1388 Glenrose Drive.

His son pointed, just like his father did in the flick.

Renna tweeted the photo with the caption:

Had a little layover in #SLC so brought him to the original sandlot. Little overgrown. I swear he just pointed!

Renna is famous for saying the line "You're killing me Smalls!" which has become part of the American pop-culture lexicon.
