Students from Judge Memorial Catholic High School's robotics club made huge impressions at FIRST Robotics Competition in Houston on Saturday.

The Salt Lake City high school's team "JudgeMent Call" was ranked first in Utah, second in the Utah Regional and 12th in the Worlds categories at the international robotics competition.

The team was also awarded the San Diego Regional Creativity Award sponsored by Xerox and the Utah Regional Industrial Design Award sponsored by General Motors.

According to FIRST, the international not-for-profit STEM engagement program, its robotics competition is the ultimate "sport for the mind. High-school student participants call it ‘the hardest fun you’ll ever have.'"
