The remains of 28-year-old Aubree Shanae Corona were located Tuesday, nearly six weeks after she was reported missing on July 13.

Investigators with the Sublette County Sheriff's Office had been working to piece together what may have happened to Corona since she mysteriously disappeared.

Corona was a long-time resident of Spanish Fork, but had moved to Green River, Wyo.

She was camping with her boyfriend and his family when she left to get gas and food. She said she was going to Pinedale, but somehow ended up in Dubois, her mother, Karen, told 2News in a previous interview.

Karen Corona said she'd suspected something was wrong from the beginning because her daughter left her two children behind, something Corona would never do.

"She left her two little kids at the camp, that's the thing we just can't get past," her mother said.

The key to Corona's disappearance, her mother said, was going to be locating her truck, which search and rescue personnel did on Sunday. The truck was found inoperable in Fremont County, with half a tank of gas remaining.

Officials stated the truck was located in the Leeds Creek area in Fremont County, but did not provide a more specific location.

A search of the area surrounding the truck commenced. On Tuesday, her body was found, approximately 1.3 miles from the truck, sheriff's officials wrote in a Facebook post.

There was no cell phone coverage in the area — perhaps the reason attempts to ping Corona's cell phone had been ineffective, the post states.

The cause of Corona's death is still unknown, the sheriff's office states. An autopsy will be performed in Fremont County. Investigators do not suspect foul play, the post states.

"The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office wishes to extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Miss Corona in this difficult time," sheriff's officials wrote.

A GoFundMe page has been established to help cover funeral expenses. Money not used for the funeral will help care for Corona's children, the page states.
