One person has died following a Saturday morning crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Londonderry Fire Company responded to the crash in the westbound lanes around 6:30 a.m. State police say, the crash happened at mile marker 251 between the Lebanon-Lancaster and Harrisburg East exits.

An SUV lost control on the wet roads and hit the back of a commercial vehicle, pulled over on the shoulder. The driver of the SUV died, according to police.

Traffic was restricted to one lane for several hours but has since reopened.
