Painting pumpkins to benefit the Autism Society of Greater Harrisburg

Wine goes with everything, including this time of year, pumpkins.

All proceeds from Pumpkin Painting at the J&P Winery today in Dauphin County benefited the Autism Society of Greater Harrisburg.

With a donation of five dollars, people got some paint and became an artist for a day.

JB Farms supplied the pumpkins for the event.

It's a cause that is near and dear to the farm's heart. Julie Bechtel, of JB Farms, has a child with autism.

"To get the kids involved in the community. To bring awareness to autism. Allow them to come out and interact, just have fun for a little bit," says Julie Bechtel of JB Farms.
